A little while back I went down the youtube rabbit hole...you know.. of looking at wood turning on YouTube.  

Then, I took a lesson at a studio in Salem.  

The next thing I knew I built a wood shop in my basement and I go down there all the time.

Process

This is all just for fun.  In real life I am a photographer.  www.tophercox.com.  I love working with wood.  It just feels right to me.

From time to time folks ask if I can make them something.  My first suggestion is that they come over and I will help them make it themselves....after they sign a release saying they won't sue me if they lose a finger :-)....and after Covid.
